                                           Frances lawson wins Fife Classic for second Time

 Frances Lawson came through a strong field to win the Fife Classic for the second time. Frances defeated Anne Kirk and Susanna Youmg  both Scottish teamates, and in the final beat Jenni Tully from Central 3-2 to take the trophy.

 Frances also paired up with Susanna Young and were unlucky to lose 3-2 in the final of the ladies pairs.

  Bonnyrigg "B" were beaten in the final to qualify for the British finals on Sunday 1st August.

 In the first round they defeated Ayrshire 5-4, in the second round the were victors over Central by the same scoreline 5-4. The final howerver they were against the powerful East Stirlingshire team Pennies and lost 5-1.
